What a great Labor Day weekend! I felt a great sense of pride while meeting West Hartford
residents from many neighborhoods. I was met with encouragement and optimism. Listening to
many thoughts and ideas – I am excited to help and give back to West Hartford, a community
that has given me so much over the years.

One of my main campaign themes is making our town more accessible and family-friendly. I
believe in bike paths, car-free days in West Hartford Center, free wi-fi and other amenities that
will help connect our town and community. One common theme that resonated while meeting
neighbors concerned our canine population. The town boasts many beautiful parks. However,
with all the dog owners in town, why is it that there are no dog parks? I believe this is a feature that
is lacking in West Hartford.

There should be a location for dog owners that brings our residents together- rather than be
forced to bring their dogs to other towns. We should look to create designated dog parks in
West Hartford. This helps connect our community while helping to fill the desired need for our town.
